A multi-stage trainer programme developing disaster awareness, volunteer skills and local training capacity among young people.

What change did we work toward?
Launched in Kahramanmaraş on 17 August 2025, the project combined institutional capacity development, disaster volunteering, orientation camps, disaster equipment and tent setup, first aid, occupational health and safety, and health-literacy training.
Supported by the General Directorate of Civil Society Relations, the programme aimed to develop young people not only as volunteers, but also as trainers able to transfer knowledge to their communities.
