A two-cohort voluntary internship introducing medical students to clinical practice, healthcare teams and daily work in an oncology hospital.

What change did we work toward?
The programme was delivered in two cohorts at Dr Abdurrahman Yurtarslan Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital: 29 July–9 August and 12–23 August 2024.
Students observed clinical settings, learned from healthcare professionals and gained a closer understanding of professional processes in oncology.
